PostSubject: Rules of Engagement   Sun Jul 11, 2010 7:29 pm

Rules of Engagement (admin can edit). Please reply below if you R&U (read and understood)
1. Have Fun.
A: We are here simply to have fun. Competition does not matter as much as having a good time and being with friends. No one will want to be on our servers if no one is happy.
B: We understand that your personal life comes first. No member will be pressured or obligated in any way.

2. RESPECT AND IMAGE
A: Not only should people respect CO's, but all other members in and out of the clan, even if they don't get along (even more so on public servers, cause there are alot of douches out there tbh, and our clan image counts in terms of recruiting etc). Everyone should be treated and respected equally. That means no threats or bullying.
B: If you encounter an issue with another clan member, sort it out sensibly. You may ask a clan administrator to mediate if necessary. Do not resort to immature acts such as spamming or abusing the services that we provide.
C: Offensive and immature behaviour is not tolerated. This includes inciting others to act offensively.
D: Respect public players and other clans as if they were members of our clan.
E: Forward your ideas. If you have an idea that you think will improve AUS|, speak up. There are no right or wrong ideas. Everyone would love to hear them.

3. HACKING
A: Any use of 3d-party cheats or hacks is an immediate ban from the Clans server(s) and a kick from the clan. The use of map glitches/exploits is strictly prohibited. Exploits can include but are not limited to: hiding/glitching inside of walls or objects where you can see out, but others can't see you; shooting through walls or objects where you can kill, but can't be killed. (unless everyone else is for self knowledge.)

4. ACTIVITY
A: All clan members are required to be active both on the forums and xfire.

5. Recruitment.
A: Anyone can join AUS|. It's not about being leet; it's about having fun.
B: There are no age restrictions, but a mature attitude is desired.
C: AUS| is run for its members to have a fun social experience.

6. LOA
A: It would be nice if you could tell us why and how long you will be inactive for.

7. PROPER TAGS/NAME
A: You must wear your correct tags at all times on Venti and while playing any game.
B: NO inappropriate names - Racially, Sexually, or Suggestive names as your identification in the Forums, TS, or in game (If it is generally acceptable i.e. Hotlips = Ok! BUT BigDick = Not Ok!) - Create a new player if needed for the Game (Sorry) for all your tags to match properly. This site has players of all ages and expects you to represent yourself in a mature manner.

8. SCRIMS
A: If you sign up for the match you must show for the match AND practices (unless you have valid reasons for not turning up, RL > gaming). If you don't want to show up, then don't sign up for the match. You are required to be on vent if a scrim practice or match is happening.
B: Other clan members are not allowed to disturb people when they are scrimming. You are not allowed to join their game.

9. Clan Leadership
A: The day-to-day running of the clan (such as the enforcement of these rules) is administrated by a permanent clan president and an even number of elected clan leaders. This leadership group is to vote on any major decisions affecting the clan. Admins (not leaders) will have to elect themselves and will be chosen by FOxx or other Leaders and Founders.

10. Paying for our Servers.
A: AUS| Aussie Gaming is a hobby, but it is expensive to maintain. You can choose to help pay for the clan's upkeep by making a quarterly donation and be rewarded with extra privileges.
B: The clan president can choose to upgrade members to 'paying' status for free if it is deemed that they have made a valuable contribution to the clan.
C: Fees will be kept as low as possible, as this is not a business. See the upkeep page for more information.
D: Paid privileges can be revoked at the discretion of clan leadership (e.g. due to serious or repeated violation of clan rules). AUS| is not a business so no refunds will be made.

11. Changing of Rules.
A: Contact a clan administrator if you have an idea regarding a change of rules. A vote by clan leaders will need to take place to make any changes.
